Nice, capital of the French Riveria, a city of sunshine, palm trees and beach walks. Only ever having been in Paris, Nice was my second time in France, and it's decidedly distinct. A walk down the shopping avenue, Jean Médecin, leads you to the beach: vibrant, enticing, with a this-must-be-what-Miami-is-like vibe. Nearby is the old town-- charming and bustling, with a pop up antique market and buzzing restaurants. The overall feel is a jumble of fantastically opulent, urban, architecturally stunning, with an old-world charm.
